| Christmas Cake ~
Every year as kids our mum would get together the fruit for the Christmas cake, it would be ceremoniously chopped into pieces, brandy poured over the top and there it would sit for 6 weeks until the fruit was plumped and matured and then into the oven it would go. Mum never gave her secret away!!
Now I follow in her steps but alas for family and friends the cakes I make at Christmas time are made from chunky, ‘plumped’ soap!! Yes soap! Each cake has meticulously chopped ‘fruit’ and fragranced not unlike the cake mum made, all spicy and rich!
This cake is available in individual wedges or can be purchased as a whole (12 or so wedges cut by yourself with a sharp knife) to be given as gifts for the workplace or for small gifts for family and friends and as Kris Kringles gifts.
