We are a cottage industry nestled in the Strzelecki Ranges in Gippsland Victoria, Australia and live on a small property with beautiful views over Corner Inlet and the magnificent Wilson’s Promontory National Park.

ANNOUNCEMENT: PALM OIL FREE SOAP  Having learned of the threat to native Orang-utans and the welfare of village women by planned decimation of natural vegetation and planting of palm oil plantations I am now phasing out the use of palm oil in my soaps. Multi-national cosmetic and bio-diesel companies are employed in destroying the rainforest jungle to make way for palm plantations. The palm fruit is in great demand by these companies to the detriment of the orang-utans whose habitat they are destroying and the women who now have to walk greater distances for firewood and to graze their animals.  No longer using palm oil is my small contribution to these people. For some time now I have been trialling new recipes and have come up with a few that I am now happy with and proud to use. The main oil I am now using is coconut oil as it is high in antioxidants which help protect and guard the skin against premature aging. It is deeply moisturising and contributes to a hard and bubbly bar of soap. Other oils include rice bran oil which is high in several fatty acids and is ideal for dry, flaky, sensitive and mature skin and olive oil which is rich in Vitamin E. as well as a natural protector of the skin.  None of our products are tested on animals but are cheerfully tested by friends and family!

We use the finest vegetable oils, unrefined nut butters, botanicals and fragrance and essential oils.  Our soaps have no preservatives, whiteners, hardeners and surfactants. Unlike commercial soaps the glycerine remains in the soap.  Each soap is cut individually or poured into moulds to cure so there will always be slight differences in shape and size, although the minimum weight is 100grams.  See individual soap ingredients list.

Our hand creams and lotions are made using the finest quality ingredients that melt in and do not remain greasy on the skin. After much time and testing we have found the right amount of preservative that we can use as a minimum, enabling these products to be as natural as possible.  Ethically we could not sell goat milk hand creams and lotions without a preservative.
